I wrote about the four stages of competence, to practice to grow your abilities, to follow and trust in your intuition and abilities and to trust in the process especially when you meet challenging clients.
Just thought I'll share some new discoveries I've made about myself to encourage and affirm those of you who are either new to QT/ healing modalities or are on the cusp of wonderful new/ self-discoveries.
When I first started to dabble occasionally in QT, my skill was at its most basic. More often than not, I believe it's my basic intention of universal love (love is the basis of QT!) that facilitated a shift in my clients. When I fell in love with QT and disciplined myself to practice, that's when I experienced an exponential growth in my skill and abilities. X amount of practice = X amount of growth.
I've to confess that on the onset, I have to discipline myself because I do get bored sitting there for 30 to 40 mins working on my client. For those who know me personally, I see them nodding their heads in agreement for they know that I'm a buzzing doing person. When I got over the tedium of just being, that's when the joy and fun began! I started to explore, to "play", and have fun. Because I've mastered the basic techniques, I was able to then use advance techniques and blend modalities as well.
Because I practice and practice (I do QT daily for myself and others. I also make it a point to move out of my comfort zone and test out different techniques each time.), rid myself of limiting beliefs/ crap and started to follow and trust in my intuition, I allowed the manifestion of my gifts. That's aligned to the insights shared by the UK intuitive lady about QT and me, that "I've such an ability and talent and that I'm a natural at this". Her sharing was a catalyst for my exponential growth cos' I started to trust in my ability even more. Synchronicity and flow at work. Pygmalion effect at work. All good.
One exponential growth is from not being able to even spin my own chakras (yup, they were that blocked at that time!!!) to being able to spin and balance/ clear my chakras to being able to spin my clients' chakras to being able to scan/ balance my clients chakras. Now I can even scan remotely and without having to know how they look like or know them personally. The insights/ prompts/ images from being generalised as in "it's blocked etc" are also getting more precise. For example, when I was scanning a lady (who I just met for the 2nd time socially) and I came to her third eye, I shared that " it appears she prefers not to use it for whatever reason." She clarified and ask if it's not spinning and I shared that it is flowing vibrantly just that she prefers not to use it. I was certain of my exact choice of words. She paused and then shared that yes indeed, she doesn't like to use her third eye cos' it's always accurate.
And last Sat, while I was at my good friends Gabriel and Karen's place, I did a chakra scan for my cute godson. When I came to his 3rd chakra (tummy area), I saw some discordent energetic flow, black spots. So I asked his mum if he has any problems with his tummy. He didn't. Received an sms on Thursday that he came down with tummy upset/ tummy flu. Hmmmm....
So take heart, practice, continue your journey and most importantly, enJOY the journey. Forget about competing with someone else (she/ he can do that, I must do that too!) or berating yourself (why I can't see colours, why I can't spin my chakras, why I so stupid blah blah blah). Energy work stems from positivity. Positivity begins with your own mindset, frame of reference, beliefs and actions.
enJOY!
