Complementary Therapy

I often remind participants at my workshops and clients that Quantum-Touch is a complementary and not an alternative therapy. People need not make a choice between QT or a western doctor, QT or another energy therapy, QT or a chinese doctor etc.

It is complementary which means simply, use QT together with whatever else that can help.

We live in an age where there are countless therapies, remedies and advice that we can sought to have a wholistic healing. Doctors are not to be feared, they are important for us to get a diagnosis. It's the medication that we've got to educate ourselves more on and see if alternatives can be found for example, my British friend Beryl is an expert with natural herbs and if I need 'medication' or supplement, she'll be the one I would check with.

If a client comes to me with say bleeding in the stools, the first thing I would ask is "have you seen a doctor?" If he or she has not, I would not see him/ her either till a visit to the doctor is done. With a diagnosis, then a world of opportunities arises for treatments and remedies.

The same is also true on the other spectrum. There are some people who would just opt for western medicine and not even consider any form of natural energy therapy to complement it. I respect their model of the world, theirs is probably a medical framework. Yet at the same time, I feel it's silly because natural energy therapy can complement and accelerate the healing process.

So the next question I often get is "Does it mean then that you can cure my wife of cancer?" I would answer that I cannot cure because your wife is the healer not I. What I can do is to be a catalyst for the healing process through my QT sessions plus my affirmative work together with whatever medical treatments that she is getting. We cannot determine the outcome ie whether the person live or not (we are not the creator) but we can give the person our highest and most loving vibrations so that she can tap on our strength to boost her own. That's a good chance as any to triumph isn't it?

And at times, miracles do happen. There's a 12-year old boy in Hong Kong who was diagnosed with luekemia. I was asked to distance him and I believe there were other energy workers working on him as well. He was undergoing chemo sessions. Within weeks of me knowing about him, we received the news that he's found a bone marrow transplant donor which is excellent news. That was the intention that we sent out to the Universe. Next, we focus on building up his strength so that he can undergo the operation. Throughout the whole process, I was told that he remained extremely positive and upbeat in spite of the pain that he must be going through. In the week that I left for this month long holiday, he was strong enough to go for the operation. I hear that he is recovering well and I am very excited to met him when I am in Hong Kong in December to conduct a QT workshop. I've invited him to attend it! The doctors shared that it is a miracle that he is even alive to go through the operation. Here is a wonderful testament to how doctors plus energy work can give a person a more than 100% chance to triump. Complementary all the way, extra booster and more often than not, accelerate the healing process.

My experience and the sharing of many others have also shown that even if the outcome is that the person does pass on to another beginning, because of the QT sessions, they often feel no pain even in the final stages of say, cancer. There was a man who was diagnosed with liver cancer who till the final weeks before his passing, was happily volunteering his time to give QT sessions as well as driving himself around. How's that for quality living in spite of condition?

That's the reason why I love QT and often will speak of it with anyone. And if I know of anyone who is unwell or has someone who is unwell, I will share with them about QT as well in a gentle manner. It is my responsibility to share but not to force or push. Often, I will share briefly and then invite them to read my blog or QT website if they are interested. I respect the fact that I know and thousands all over the world know how effective QT is. But they do not yet know. The invitation is for them to accept if they choose to.

QT Anywhere and Everywhere

One of the things I love about energy work is that you can teach it anywhere in the world to anyone. No limitation of nationality, gender or age!



I flew in to Scotland on Monday and straight to my first 'international' workshop. Had 6 love-ly ladies at the workshop and we all marvelled at the fact on how energy work truly connects people from all walks of life. Imagine me, a Chinese Singaporean woman, running a workshop in Scotland which is half the world away! Amazing amazing amazing! Had my oldest participant as well, my friend Marilyn's mum in law who is 85 this year. She's so lively, witty and loving.. such positive joyous energy! She truly inspires me!

Going with the flow and a prompt, I've booked my flight to Hong Kong in December to do a QT workshop. Received a totally unexpected email from a very nice lady in Hong Kong who's interested in learning QT. Took that as a sign to go ahead and so am all set to flow.

Through energy work, I'm learning to go with the flow even more, to dare to be me more and to enJOY life more. And it gives me great joy when my participants share their success stories with me and their experiences on how their lives have changed too.

Will be flying to Manchester tomorrow for a workshop and I've a strong feeling that it's needed for my growth. Am excited, curious and must confess, a little apprehensive. I know I'll have to move out of my comfort zone even more so that always makes one uncomfortable doesn't it. Keep an open mind, learn, absorb and flow.
