Against All Odds

I received a call yesterday for sessions for a new client who is critically ill. She is HIV positive and has been hospitalised for a month. Her third time being this ill. 

Her sis (who called me) shared that my client is a strong fighter. From the time of her diagnosis and through her emotional and physical pain, she stays strong. Highly likely for her children.


I salute my client for her fighting spirit.

When friendships end..

There are some nights when I dream about some friendships that have ended and I wake up with an ache in my heart. But instead of crying, I run energy on my heart chakra to provide a soothing balm. Instead of being angry, I release the hurts so that the toxicity of anger does not remain. Instead of imposing, I do cord cutting to let go. 

I treasured those friendships and would have preferred them to have continued, to be a forever friend. But it has to be desired by both parties. And if it isn't, then respect for the other person's choice is needed. No matter how painful it might be.

When we are able to let go as lovingly and kindly as possible, we allow grace to enter. While we may not see the tangible effect, it is there. And our heart stays open for the continued unfolding of love and gladness.
