Testimonials:
Gabriel, Singapore
Being too engrossed in  learning golf, I went to the golfing range for 7-8 days in a row to practise my swings.  I developed a dull ache in my palm, it got so bad that I couldn't swing the club properly.  Sometimes, when I wake up in the morning, I would feel the ache in the hand too.  This lasted for more than a month.  Even when I rested from Golf, the ache wouldn't go away. Bernadette did 2 QT sessions for me, the pain didn't go away immediately, but within 2 days, I forgot that I had the pain.  It simply disappeared, vanished.  Even after I carried on playing, the pain didn't return.

May, Hong Kong
QT is such a simple and easy to use healing method. One time, I put my hands on my friend's little girl who has spine problem since she was born. The little girl was so quiet and relaxed when I worked on her for 15 mins. Her mom was amazed and told me that her daughter would never let anyone unfamiliar touch her. Highly recommend QT to any parents to learn, a very gentle and calming healing skill for kids.

Tag, Singapore
My dad told me today that he no longer feels any pain and thanked me for introducing Quantum-Touch to him. Thank you for your services. You spared him a lot of pain and treatments.

Lily, Singapore
I have insomnia for a long period. I try not to rely on sleeping pills. After Day 1 of workshop, I didn't want to sleep early so had a cup of coffee. But by 8pm, I dozed off and when I woke up, it was 8.30am the next morning!! I was amazed staring at my house with all the lights still on.

I attended Bernadette's Quantum-Touch workshop on the recommendation of friends. They told me that it was a very powerful energy modality and that they were able to use it immediately to heal people. Bernadette is an experienced trainer. She combines just the right amount of theory with hands-on learning and she's affable and warm so everyone learns and enjoys. After only one workshop I've been able to use QT for all kinds of healing and self-improvement. I highly recommend it!

The Fragility of Life

We all know of someone or know someone who knows someone who depart from this realm suddenly. It is especially difficult when it is someone young or someone who died unexpectedly. That's when we remind ourselves about the fragility of life. That's when we remind ourselves to treasure life and our loved ones in all moments.

Then our schedules catch up with us. Our to-do lists need to be checked off. The endless cycle of work that needs completing.  And we forget.

The fragility of life.

It is not just when someone we love departs from this realm that we feel this. It happens when relationship changes unexpectedly and suddenly.

The fragility of life.

It spur us to treasure the moments. It allows us to be detached from expectations of a forever and forever. It facilitates the movement of grace for people to change their minds.

It adds to the precious beauty that is life.

Dealing with Stress

Did two lunchtime talks on 'Dealing with Stress' for Standard Chartered Bank's parenting and caregivers network in July.

From the great turnout for both sessions, it is a topic that's close to our hearts as we juggle our multiple roles in our daily lives.

I think it is wonderful for the bank to initiate various networks to look after their employees' welfare. Kudos to the bank and to the volunteers who are on the planning committees!

At the same time, the bank and the organisers can initiate programmes but without the voluntary participation of the employees, it would be a waste of effort.

I was really happy to observe the desire of the participants to equip themselves with tools and strategies to better their lives and those of their loved ones.
Everybody's learning journey is different and some of the sharing covered during the talk might be familiar to some. Yet my desire is that even for those who have attended many of such talks, they leave mine with one or two golden nuggets that they can apply to their daily living.

Feeling happy without feeling guilty

I bumped into a friend while on my way for my reflective swim this morning. Haven't seen her for a long time.

Friend: "Hi, how have you been?"
Me: "I am good. On way for a swim."
Friend: "Good life"
Me: "Yes, taking a break today from work..."

Oops, I found myself starting to justify my good life. Did a mental STOP and then I continued happily chatting to her without feeling guilty about my good life.

Yes, I am truly enjoying the positive flow of my life right now. I am happy and blissfully so.

Yet it was only last week that I had a breakthrough: I was finally able to fully embrace and enjoy the happy and good flow of my current life without guilt that other people around me eg my clients, friends or family members are going through difficulties and challenges. I used to feel bad that life's so good for me now while others are still in pain.

Now, I can continue to be a happy catalyst to others. And at the same time, fully enjoy being the happy me and my happy life.

Quantum-Touch Level 1 Workshop

After learning QT, Mdm Cheong now spends time doing sessions

The QT workshop was helpful and beneficial. Not only has it taught me how to conduct QT healing, it has also broadened my awareness on energy and how to use it to benefit my daily life. Now I use it mostly to energize or calm myself, and it works well. Also, Bernadette is very caring and she took time and effort to advise us on certain problems in our personal life when we asked.
What made it even better was attending it with my mother. Together we made this interesting learning experience, and it brought both of us to a deeper level of mutual understanding. We now have something more in common to talk about, and we can help heal each other when needed. Both of us have no regrets attending it, and we definitely recommend it.

Bernadette has been an extremely engaging trainer throughout the QT session, who manages break this complicated and seemingly intimidating field into something easy to grasp. Her stories were truly inspiring as they drove us to re-think our paradigms with the powerful principles like 'Energy follows intention' and 'Breathe, breathe, breathe!' which she emphasized and reinforced since day one. The QT workshop also gave us a unique way of understanding how we function as facilitators of healing and that our highest positive intention drives the process. The workshop has been filled with fun, laughter, joy, and sometimes tears as there were moments that touched the depths of our hearts, and if not, our soul. An excellent program with impressive and professional trainer! Please keep up the great work!

I attended Bernadette's Quantum-Touch workshop on the recommendation of friends. They told me that it was a very powerful energy modality and that they were able to use it immediately to heal people. As I personally discovered in Bernadette's 2-day workshop, QT is all that, but it's also fun and easy to learn. Bernadette is an experienced trainer. She combines just the right amount of theory with hands-on learning and she's affable and warm so everyone learns and enjoys. Bernadette includes Chakra balancing and healing in her workshop, which is especially interesting and helpful. After only one workshop I've been able to use QT for all kinds of healing and self-improvement. I highly recommend it!

Break Out of Your Comfort Zone

Last month, I was invited by  the Business Women's Network of SAP Singapore as their guest speaker.

The topic "Break Out of Your Comfort Zone" is one that is very close to my heart.

As I laughingly shared with the participants, it seem that I  have had to constantly and consistently practice this throughout my life. And judging from the large turnout (the organisers shared with me later on that it was the best ever turnout), it is a topic that resonates with many.

Even though the session was just for an hour, I wanted it to be packed with strategies and tips that participants could use straight away. And of course, it has to be interactive and fun as well!

And during the session, when I shared the story about my mum and how proud I am of her for breaking out of her comfort zone, one of the participants excitedly shared that she knows who my mum is! So it was a nice story to pass on to my mum after the the event.

As a lovely bonus, I met a friend whom I have not seen since our graduation.

I had so much fun at the event and it once again affirms the importance of breaking out of one's comfort zone. If I did not take the first step (years ago) to do my very first speaking engagement, I would not have realised that I truly enjoy it. By moving into a new comfort zone, I allowed the unfolding of goodness. And if we focus on this unfolding of goodness, it gives us the added courage and boost to conquer the fears of moving beyond our limitations and often, self imposed boundaries.

In this month's issue of my e-newsletter 'the HAPPY catalyst', I featured my angel grandmas as Smile Catalysts. Often times, we take our own family members for granted. This is my little way of giving recognition to two wonderful ladies who are an inspiration to me and are my role models. :)

Smile Catalysts

It is lovely when someone brightens our day, isn't it? The world would certainly be a happier place with the presence of more 'smile catalysts'. In each issue, we will feature a Smile Catalyst; someone who brings smiles to the people in his or her life through their work and/or being.

This month, I would like to feature my grandmas who make us, their family members smile.

I love my grandmas dearly. They are angels who love us grandchildren from the moment they saw us. Who spent their time taking care of us when our parents were at work. Who patiently put up with our childish tantrums when we didn't get what we want. Who comforts us when we are at odds with the world. Who gamely approves our fashion choices (even if it's black clothes for the Lunar New Year). Who weeps with joy when we got married. Who empathise with me when my marriage failed. Who delights in our company. Who loves us for who we are. My grandmas.

Maternal Grandma

My maternal grandma lives with my uncle and cousin. A few years ago, when she could still move about by herself, when it was time for me to leave for home after my visits, she would send me to the door and then look out of the window to ensure that I'm walking safely home (home at that time was a street away). I cannot stay too late for my visit each time because in the eyes of my grandma, I'm forever her young grand-daughter. And the streets are too dark and unsafe to be staying out too late for a young girl. I would wave to her energetically from the street, ignoring the curious stares of bystanders, knowing that a loving pair of eyes is watching me. My maternal grandma has always put the needs of others before self. She's non-judgmental and always patient with others. And she loves her children, grandchildren and all the 'in-laws' as in daughter-in-law etc to bits!

Paternal Grandma

My paternal grandma lives in Ang Mo Kio and I do not see her as often as my maternal grandma. She was my primary caregiver when I was growing up and as such, I have a strong bond with her. For many years of my life, she cooked for me, washed my clothes, protected me from scolding, pampered me when I had a bad day at school, brought me to the doctor, listened to my rattling of my day's activities. She used to enjoy cooking and her nonya rice dumplings and braised duck were utterly delicious!

Through the passing years, they have grown older and became frailer. It is a reality that one day, these angels will watch me from afar. Yet for the time that they are here, I will do my best to savour the moments spent with them and TLC them. Angels. My grandmas.

Daydreaming

It was sheer luxury to be able to take two weeks off from 'work' to recharge and rejuvenate. I needed that break badly. And as such, am grateful for the abundance that came my way for me to do this.

2012 was a different sort of year and the break allowed me to process all that has happened as well as to rest. Internal recharging.

I have just started to ease back into 'work'. Am doing it at a slower pace than initially planned because I am listening to and honouring my inner self's desire for a little more break time. Again, I am grateful to be able to do this.

My inner self needs to be 100% recharged and revitalised. To spend some time just enjoying being, meditating, visualising. To daydream.

Daydreaming allows me to be in touch with my heart's true desires and to manifest the realities dreamt. As a young child, I engaged in daydreaming a lot. But oftentimes, the daydreams were probably 'wasted energy' because they were scattered and peppered with fears.

The difference is now, with all of life's experiences and the different courses/ trainings I have attended...daydreaming takes on a whole new dimension.

Like attract like.
Goodness attract goodness.
Compassion at core.

Daydreaming allows me to become a better person. Because to manifest the reality dreamt, inner change-work is needed.

Daydreaming allows me to remain positive. Regardless of life's flow, I can imagine and dream of a better reality. And choose my response that will manifest that reality.

Daydreaming allows me to continue being a dream catalyst. I can harness all of my learnings, tools and abilities to be of help to myself and others.

Daydreaming allows me to just be.
