Judge Blindly, Miss Opportunities

I was looking at a QT video on Youtube recently and the comments made by one viewer reinforced the importance of being a true skeptic and not an ignorant arrogant mr/ms-know-it-all-not. He has never experienced QT nor read about it nor gone for a workshop yet had the knowledge to authoritatively proclaim this healing modality as being from the devil and that all QTers are cheaters etc etc.

Thanks to his insistence on blindly judging, blindly believing that his model of the world is the only model, blindly following his thoughts/ beliefs, he have missed the opportunities to:

Have a tool that can help himself feel better. I have so many stories from participants who have enhanced their physical, mental and emotional well-being as a result of QT and/ or other healing modalities. People who had insomnia now sleep better. Busy executives now have an immediate tool to de-stress or rid themselves of that migraine or when needed, to recharge themselves to work through an important deadline.

Have a tool to help those around him. A mother could work on her daughter's sty in the eye before it had the chance to swell up like it usually did. A husband now had a tool to alleviate the pain in his wife's knees. A friend could helped her friend who was emotionally distraught to calm down and be in a more useful state to solve the problem. A subordinate could send healing energy to her boss so to enhance his well-being in this challenging times.

Change his life. Every tool that we add onto our toolbox be it coaching techniques, a new book we read with useful insights/ tips, presentation skills, energy modalities and so on, always provide us with more open windows and doors for change to take place in our lives. Mindset shift. New perspectives. New friendship.

It's ok not to accept this tool if it is not to your preference nor liking. Or go against your beliefs. Just respect others who do find it useful. Just because they differ in view to yours does not mean that they are from the devil. It is precisely this ignorance disguised as truth that has caused pain and suffering in our history.

This week, I learnt...

humility. That there are situations that's truly beyond me or my skills right now. I am very good at what I do. At the same time, I am also a newbie in this whole field and some areas are, well non touchable for now. Like a friend shared, not worth the risk.

to let go.
As much I want to be of help, at the end of the day, the client be it a family member, a friend or a paying client is the healer not I. This is a principle that I must remember. I was insulted by someone today who became angry and threw a temper tantrum simply because I spoke what the person did not want to hear. The anger was inward directed but deflected outward to others. I completely understand. At the same time, I learnt the meaning of "to let go". When the person needs help, then I will render it again.

to pace and take care of myself.
I desire to provide the best for my clients/ participants and to be highly effective at what I do. So for example, instead of just teaching a Quantum-Touch workshop purely the usual syllabus way, I will use my ability to perceive energy flows and scan chakras to help my participants accelerate their learning. That also means I do over tax myself at times. Pace and take care of myself - that's the key message this week. I've been resting and recharging so that I can be even stronger and more effective at what I do.

~~~~~
Chakras are the subtle energy centers of the body. The ancient Indian Yogis understood the nature of the subtle energy which drives all biological function. They called these centers "Chakras" which literally means " wheels."
Those who see energy often perceive the chakras as spinning with a wheel-like appearance. The chakras are thought to vitalise the physical body and to be associated with interactions of both a physical and mental nature. To heal, is to bring the chakras into alignment and balance. Understanding the Chakras also provide the foundation for further growth into other areas, including psychic growth and other metaphysical work.
At the workshop, you will:
1. Enhance your own awareness about your own energy centres
2. Learn to balance, align and further enhance your energy centres
"When my chakras are in balance I am healthy, when out of balance I am ill. I now know to listen to my body." ~ Val Whyte, International Reki Master & Founder of the Safe Haven Project
My Article in Quantum-Touch Newsletter, Vol 6 Issue 2
I was approached by the QT office to write an article for their newsletter on how learning QT has changed my life. The article was just published and what's really nice is that the article has connected me with other like-minded people who read it.
Abundancestorming!
Making Dreams Come True
by Bernadette Chua CQTPI
When I accepted my friend Yvonne's invitation to attend her Quantum-Touch workshop in 2005, I didn't know the impact that a simple yes would have on my life and the lives of others around me.
Abundancestorming, that’s the most apt word to describe my life since I discovered QT. Among all the tools I’ve picked up through the years eg NLP and coaching, I found energy work to be the tool that effects the quickest positive transformation in my life and the lives of the people I connect with through QT workshops. The abundant changes are on physical, mental, emotional, financial as well as social dimensions.
Physically, I am the healthiest that I’ve been in my life. No longer do I diet nor binge and more importantly, I am totally comfortable with and love my body! Mentally, doing energy work has enabled me to shift from a poverty mindset to an abundant mindset. Emotionally, I now have a very effective tool to manage my emotions whenever I need an extra dosage of sunshine.
On the social dimensions, through QT I have expanded my social circle within Singapore as well as overseas. One of my close friends who lives in Scotland which is a long way off from Singapore started off as my first paying client. Since being certified as an instructor in May, I’ve taught workshops in Singapore as well as in Hong Kong and Scotland – teaching, travelling and be-ing at the same time!
Financially, with the extra income generated from my therapy sessions, I was able to pay off the last of my outstanding loans, a year quicker than I planned . And in November last year, I made the decision to quit my job to focus on this growing passion. As my own boss, I now have greater flexibility of time for work, play, coaching my participants, write my book, pursue interests and simply just be.
On a personal note, learning QT and the disciplined practice sessions reawakened and further enhance my intuitive abilities. For example, from not being able to visualise nor feel my own chakras at my first QT workshop, I am now able to effectively scan and enhance my clients' chakras and provide them with in depth insights for greater self-awareness so that they feel even more aligned, happier and balanced.
Life is indeed very different for me. Today, I am living the life I dreamt about years ago during my darkest nights of the soul – a happier life where I get to travel, to meet new friends from all over the world, debt-free and to be a dream catalyst of change for both myself and the people around me. Perhaps I would have achieved this dream life in time to come but I am certain that with QT, it sped up the manifestation process and I am so glad to have this life-changing tool!
This is the reason why I am truly passionate about QT and desire to teach as many people this transformational tool. The fact that you are reading this means that you too, are a fellow light worker and I thank you for being you! As the world goes through a new phase of beginnings, your positivity and light is indeed much needed!
Be light. Be love.
Oooo... my first advertisement
Decided that I would like more people to know about my Chakra Scan and Energetic Enhancement session and so decided to place my first advertisement and it's out!
Heading to Bintan tomorrow for a short break to recharge and write. It's timely as I've a feeling that I will be receiving requests for sessions when I'm back.
Healer. Human.
There seems to be an awkwardness on our part whenever we feel unwell or when we experience our own healing crisis. It almost feels like we're embarassed to be be humanly unwell. Yet at the end of the day, we are human so we do get unwell or go through healing crisis. It's what we do with ourselves when we do get the occasional bug or healing crisis that differentiates between a wise energy worker and a energy worker.
A wise energy worker will take the time to rest and recharge. To seek help from other therapists. To allow the body to rest. And to see a doctor when needed. Doctors are here for a reason.
A wise energy worker will take responsibility to review the feelings, insights, emotions etc that surface through the healing crisis and move forward, not wallow in it.
A wise energy worker knows that by taking care of onself, one can continue the good work of helping others for a much longer period of time.
