Practice to grow your abilities

In psychology, the four stages of competence relate to the psychological states involved in the process of progressing from incompetence to competence in a skill:

1. Unconscious incompetence
The individual neither understands or knows how to do something, nor recognizes the deficit or has a desire to address it.

2. Conscious incompetence
Though the individual does not understand or know how to do something, he or she does recognize the deficit, without yet addressing it.

3. Conscious competence
The individual understands or knows how to do something. However, demonstrating the skill or knowledge requires a great deal of consciousness or concentration.

4. Unconscious competence
The individual has had so much practice with a skill that it becomes "second nature" and can be performed easily (often without concentrating too deeply). He or she can
also teach it to others.

Quantum-Touch is a skill and therefore, practice is needed for one to reach the stage 4 ie unconscious competence where it becomes "second nature" that you can tap onto it easily, confidently and naturally. Just like riding a bicycle. Just like skiing. Just like salsa dancing. Just like about any other skill that you have learnt.

The bonus for your discipline in practicing what you have learnt at the QT workshop, through the books or the video workshop is that you will start to discover even more abilities. For example, you may start to see colours or auras. You may discover that you have a knack for working with bones. You start to perceive energy. Or in my case, my intuitive abilities became stronger.

At my very first workshop, during the chakra exercise, I was really stressed because I could not feel my chakra nor imagine it spinning. In fact, I opted out of the sun star exercise! That was in end of 2005. Now, 2 1/1 years later, I am able to spin and clear my clients' chakras as well as scan the chakras for intuitive insights that have proven beneficial for my clients.

And when I am QTing a client, I often receive insights and messages which my clients have found useful to further enhance their journey towards greater well-being.

In my conversations with QT graduates, this same pattern crops up again and again. The ones who practice and use QT in their daily lives either for themselves or others often discover new abilities or gain new insights that have further enhanced their lives. As for those who learnt QT and kept it as pure head knowledge, well it remained as an untapped skill.

The good news is once you've learnt it, you will not forget it. Once you start to practice, it will come easily to you once more. Just like it was at the workshop when you were working on a fellow participant, you will once again feel a sense of awe, wonderment and joy at this gift!
