There seems to be an awkwardness on our part whenever we feel unwell or when we experience our own healing crisis. It almost feels like we're embarassed to be be humanly unwell. Yet at the end of the day, we are human so we do get unwell or go through healing crisis. It's what we do with ourselves when we do get the occasional bug or healing crisis that differentiates between a wise energy worker and a energy worker.
A wise energy worker will take the time to rest and recharge. To seek help from other therapists. To allow the body to rest. And to see a doctor when needed. Doctors are here for a reason.
A wise energy worker will take responsibility to review the feelings, insights, emotions etc that surface through the healing crisis and move forward, not wallow in it.
A wise energy worker knows that by taking care of onself, one can continue the good work of helping others for a much longer period of time.

It is very true that there's no doctor that is never sick.
& there's no shame in it.
Energy workers have to work with energy all the time, they are also more prone to slight energy change within themselves and REST plays an important part of their lives.
Meditation, cleansing, consecration, centering and grounding are all essential for an energy worker to exercise these upon themselves first before proceeding on to work. Agreed?
