Thought it'' be nice to share a personal testimonial on QT.
I went through a bad patch or perhaps the more accurate choice of word should be a painful patch when I broke off a relationship. Most people will share that I'm a positive person and very cheerful. I shrug off most challenges and face them head on. Brave Bernie as some friends call me. Lol.
During the breakup, it was extremely difficult to stay cheerful. There were many nights (and days)when the tears wouldn't stop, and the emotional pain felt like a physical one. Very different from my usual calm and positive self.
Looking back, I realised that when I forced myself to spend time on self-healing, the duration of the what I termed as "crying" episode would be shorter and less painful. Each time when a "crying" episode hits, I'll quickly placed my hands on my heart and sometimes tummy, and run energy plus spin my heart chakra. After 5 or 10 mins (depending on the severity of that episode), I'll feel calmer and peaceful.
QT does balance emotional distress. It doesn't solve the problem or the issues but it allows a person to shift from a non useful state eg my crying episode to a more useful one. I've used it to help others as well. When I'm counselling someone who is in depressed state, I will spin the person's heart chakra and QT the person as I'm listening (I'll place my hands on the person, in a comforting manner). It definitely helps.
