QT for everyday living

Sometimes people have the misconception that when one learns a healing modality, it's to be used for the big stuff and illnesses. But that's a pity!!! You can use it for everyday living, to make life even better!!!

Take for example my experience over the past few days. I'm right now holidaying in Hong Kong and loving every minute of it. Thanks to QT, feeling unwell doesn't stop me from having fun. When I suffered from hangover after a night out, I did QT on myself and felt well enough to go out shopping and sightseeing. When a headache strikes due to the weather, I start my sweeping breaths and feel better. Last evening while out on a boat trip, I felt nauseous and suffered tummy cramps. Not wanting to break the interesting conversation with my friends, I just discretely place a hand on my tummy, breathe and continued the conversation. Heehee, was well enough to enjoy the sumptuous and yummy seafood dinner 30 minutes later.

I also love using the supercharge techniques to enjoy a great night sleep (12 colours meditation), positive future pacing for events or activities (reality creating), and for my general well being (rejuvenation).

If you have learnt QT, use it in your everyday living and not "wait" for a "more deserving" time. More importantly, use it for yourself as well. Often, we are happy to spend time doing sessions for our friends or clients. "Me" is often neglected. Well, you are deserving of pampering and indulgence. This is something that I have to "discipline" myself to do as well, to consciously QT myself. And that's why I've incorporated it into my everyday living.

Tools are only useful when they are used to enhance life. Otherwise, they are just rusty tools.

Picture Tells a Thousand Words

Yvonne, Ivy and myself decided to make time to do a special synergised session for JM, a 14 year old boy who suffers from Scolosis. He has had one- on-one QT treatments previously and we wondered what would be the impact if we had three therapists working on him, using a combi of modalities plus other skills that we have learnt. The pictures were taken before and after the session. There is a difference, isn't it?

QT Heals!

Received the following email from one of the participants at our last Quantum-Touch workshop. I've named her Grace cos' she truly emanates grace. Read it and you'll understand why her email lifted our spirits!

~~~
Hi Yvonne and everyone,
Today I saw my doctor to get the results of my Brain CT and PET scan. Great news is that the brain CT is clear and the PET scan didn't light up my spleen. This is amazing news and quite unexpected as the CT scan showed definate multiple spots a month ago. I thought I was definately under the knife this week and if I wasn't then it is because they have found multiple tumours elsewhere. For those of you that don't know what a PET scan is, it is a machine that detects tumours ofter they have injected you with this stuff from nuclear medicine. You wait for it to be taken up by the tumours (about an hour) then they scan you which usually takes about 15-20min in the machine. All increased activity (usually tumours) unless too small to detect lights up. My lung tumours still lit up but they have been stable for the last 15mths and didn't light up as much they did two years ago. I'll be back in Sydney in 3mths for a CT review.
Instructor, Fun and Adventure
It's confirmed. I will be off to Belgium in September for the Supercharge Course. Part of the requirement for certification as a QT instructor.
I love training and it has been my intention to be certified as a QT instructor. Needed to put that on hold till my budget allows me to. We must be financially responsible people, don't we? :)
In April, I decided to look through QT list of events on a whim. Behold! One Supercharge class caught my eye. It was going to be held in Belgium and my heart lept. Belgium is where a dear couple friend of mine is based for work. They've been inviting me to visit them for ages. But budget has always been the stopping factor. Now, here is a reason for me to save and splurge on learning and being at the same time!
I've also decided to use this same opportunity to pop by to Spain and be part of an English programme that my sis has told me about. Been wanting to join them for years back. That's confirmed as well.
So you see, my perspective's shifted. I started off with a desire to be an instructor and that's why I needed to attend a Supercharge course. Then it was instructor plus a chance to see my friends. Now it's instructor plus being with my friends plus an adventure in Spain. Wow!
PS: Am still saving up for the trip and trusting that the abundant universe will provide what's needed. :)
12 Colours Meditation
In the Supercharging workshop, there is a 12 colours meditation that is taught. And I am a firm believer on this!
One of the positive effects for me is that I now enjoy great sleep!!! After doing the 12 colours meditation for 21 days, my sleep pattern has changed. I am enjoying deep sleep. An example of this was when I missed some smses that were sent in the wee hours of the morning. I keep my mobile beside me and it's on 24/7. In the past, the beep from the smes will wake me up. But now, I sleep through it.
Knowing the powerful effect of the 12 colours, I now start off all my QT sessions for clients by sending them the 12 colours first. The results has been great.
I have also started sending the 12 colours into situations that I am involved in for example, when I am at an outing with friends or my school's teens, I will send them the 12 colours. When there is a conflict situation, I also do the same. And there is always always always a shift in the emotional state of the people.
Just last week, I decided to experiment with sending the 12 colours into future situations. I was engaged for a coporate training last Wednesday. I know that the training would be great. At the same time, I thought it wouldn't hurt to add on further "reinforcement" (I love experimenting with all the tools in my tool box!). And so on Tuesday, I spent some time QTing my full day workshop, sending the 12 colours into the future plus strong vibrations of love and incoporating my NLP training on the power of visualisation as well. The day turned out perfect. One of my best ever!
That's the beauty of learning new tools. It enhances what we already have and allows us to have even greater flexibility in our work, roles and passions. Have the courage to experiment and have fun while at it. No one ever said that QT has to be serious all the time nor our work for that matter.
My friend J is flying off today for a major work presentation in the US. I met up with her for dinner last Fri and I shared with her this technique of future QTing when I heard how stressed she is over the presentation. Am excited to hear her sharing after the trip. In fact, she has already started doing 12 colours meditation for herself and feel really peaceful. Think that's an excellent start, isn't it?
PS: Btw, I learnt the Supercharging techniques through the video and the book. But come September, I will be off to Belgium for the course! Am really excited!!!
Back Aches Week
I posted this on dream catalyst . Just realised that this would be good here too. :P
This week, all my clients for Quantum-Touch are all suffering from back ache. Interesting. I did sessions for two clients last night. As per the norm, I followed up to check how they are feeling today (and also to remind them to drink lots of PLAIN water).
One replied that "he felt better, not as painful for back, no more problem with ankle and neck has less strain". In fact, I'll be doing another session for him next week and also to QT his mother-in-law at the same time.
The other replied "I must say I wake up this morning not feeling any pain. This is real amazing." He's going to monitor it for the next few days. Keeping fingers crossed that he does not need further sessions.
I know, it's silly from a "business" point of view. But I absolutely LOVE IT when my clients are well after the first session! :)
